And head back on over to my place if you want to see some thoughts on your last post on this subject. Entertainingly enough, I can't seem to come to more than 61% agreement with "nontheist," which either means their algorithm is a little wacky or I am. Or both, I suppose.

I've taken this test online every couple of years, it seems, and it always strikes me as a recruiting tool for the Unitarian Universalists -- I think they keep showing up at 100% just because they accept such a wide range of beliefs, so it's easy to not conflict with them.

it doesn't really score UU high for me. I am always a secular humanist.
I think the reason people get rated more theist than they think they should is that they believe in some moral imperative (like "all the world's people SHOULD be fed). The Belief-o-Matic takes that to mean that you believe in right and wrong based on faith, not reason.
And the UUs are one of the few churches on the list that agree with the social issues that I assume most of us agree on.

The issue I'm having with the Belief-o-Matic is that I have tried UU church, and it did nothing to me. There was no core to it, nothing I could grab onto.
Neo-pagan I'd never considered. I'm not even 100% sure what that means, actually.

The FAQ at http://www.ecauldron.com/newpaganfaq1.php seemed to give a good overview of neo-paganism. Seems like a pretty open world-view with similar ideas to UU, but with a core mythology taken from ancient traditions. I'm a little skeptical.

My score was almost identical to yours (and it seems, almost everybody's). Can you say "self-selecting group"? :-)
