Outfit, 02/08/08

outfit 020808So I think I need different jeans. All my jeans give me ice cream cone legs--I need something that actually goes straight down from the hips. Anybody have a suggestion?

Today I'm wearing Nine West dark wash jeans from Ross and a green men's turtleneck sweater from The Gap (thrifted). No jewelry, Simple sneakers from Zappos. Ah, Friday.

Maybe wide leg jeans would give the look you'd like?

Maybe. But I can't find much that looks appropriate. Something like these? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0011196DE/ref=wl_it_dp?ie=UTF8&coliid=IZ77KXOD13E9J&colid=1RQGXD7JAYJPN

Go for something without any stretch in it that are boot cut. I have the same problem, but way more pronounced.

Have you looked at the new jeans at Lane Bryant? They're based on your body shape and leg style. I think I got the "flare" and they go straight down.

You should try some of the wide leg pants that are in right now. Not sure what size you wear but I've seen them in both plus and regular size stores.

Oh, saw the first comment now. I meant more like trousers, like this:

Preferably ones that are amenable to tailoring so you can get the length just right. They had some really pretty chocolate ones with a kind of warm pinstripe this fall, for instance.
