This week, I've done well:
#1: Read one book per week.
I gave up on listening to "Wolf at my Table" less than halfway through. It's nothing like Burroughs' other books and I just couldn't handle it. It's miserable. I started another audio book, "Sacred Time," which I'm enjoying. More importantly, though, I finally finished "Crescent" and have moved on to a Bella Abzug biography.
#2: See one movie per week.
I've actually seen 2.5 movies in the past week. I watched "The Other Boleyn Girl" on Wednesday night and "Kinsey" last night, and then the first half of "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" tonight. Gotta love Netflix online.
#8: Learn a new craft.
Not exactly new, but I made myself some cool bulletin boards last night. I'll try to remember to take a picture and post about them this weekend.
#11: Practice cooking.
I made meatloaf and baked potatoes on Wednesday. Not great, but serviceable.
]#13: Build my freelance resume.
This is more something I am doing than something I did this week, but next week I am going to Oregon, where I will attend some business meetings with freelance clients. In preparation, I am putting together a professional writing portfolio, which is something I should have done a long time ago.
