In continuation of my pre-BlogHer series, let's talk about BogHer parties, shall we? I only went to the one official one in 2007, because I am just that socially phobic. This year, though, I'm planning to tear things up.
There is a party list here. Based on that list, and the RSVPs I can remember making, this is my planned party attendence schedule:
Thursday
3-8: SocialLuxe Lounge
This may be the first place I drop by after I get to the hotel. It's a "pampering party" sponsored by Swiffer. I'm not 100% sure what to expect, but I do love a good pamper, and the sneak peak page shows a green apple martini to be on the menu, so I'm there.
8:30-11: People's Party
The 3rd Annual People's Party has a long list of sponsors, but the big ones are Sprouts and Crocs. Last year, it was apparently a big ole bash, and this years RSVP list is currently at 550. Again, I've got no idea what to expect, but I'll definitely be there to find out.
10:30 -1: Room 704 Party
Hrm...a party in the hotel lobby, sponsored by sex toy companies Eden Fantasies and Go Girl? With swag bags marked for adults only? With a soap company and a cosmetics company on the wag list? With lots of giveaways? How could I not?
Friday
6:30-8:30: BlogHer Cocktail Party
Friday night, I'll start things off with the offical event. This is the one I did before, I think. The night I discovered the lovely Christine Kane!
9-11: Blogalicious Party
This is the Lush sponsored party for which I did not make the RSVP list. So, I likely won't actually be able to go to it. However, I am so not above spending all day Friday looking for people to beg to get me in. Or standing outside the door with moon eyes. Or possibly waiting for someone to leave so that I can clock her and steal her swag. So there's always that...
9-11: Type-A MOMfluence Party
Yay! A sitewarming party! These ladies have some good underwriters for their sitewarming, including HP, so I am guessing this will be quite the shindig. Plus, they are giving away substantial doorprizes. Mmm...doorprizes.
9-12: Mommy Needs a Cocktail Party
Um, the description mentions martinis, chocolate fountains, and a wine bar. How could I not go? Sponsors include TurboTax and Metropolitan Brewing, which ought to make for an interesting combination!
9-12: Social Starlet Party
I don't much thing I count as a social media starlet, but maybe I can fake it? Anything with a red carpet makes me want to be there. This party also features complimentary makeovers and head shots, which intrigues me.
9-1: MamaPopRocks! Sparklecorn Extravaganza!
This sparkly themed party is sponsored by Dove, Yahoo!, and Six Apart, among others. I'd be going just because I have a big love-on for Six Apart, but the party also sounds like an excellent time.
Saturday
6:30-8:30: BlogHer Cocktail Party
Second night official party. Again, the best place to start.
8-10: Shutter Sisters Pajama Party
This may be my favorite BlogHer party. GapBody is the sponsor, and the Shutter Sisters are comprised of some of my favorite bloggers (i.e.. Karen Walrond). Plus, pajama party?! How cool is that?
10ish: Third Annual CheeseburgHer Party
The CheeseburgHer party is a BlogHer tradition that I know nothing about. However, I like cheeseburgers, and my favorite BlogHer '07 friend, the fantabulous Laurie White, is on the guest list. So I'll check it out!
Whew! If I go to all of these parties, the total number of parties I've attended, ever, will likely double. But they do all sound intriguing...

I'll be at most of those, too. But then again, you already knew that!
